Ludwig Mies van der Rohe’s iconic MR Collection began in 1927 with two chairs submitted to the seminal Weissenhof exhibit in Stuttgart, Germany. Over the next five years he continued to add to the collection, including the MR Lounge Chair. Beautifully designed with a tubular steel frame and thick leather cushion, this cantilevered seat makes you feel like you’re floating.

Condition: Overall very good condition. Seat pad has no rips or tears, is very plush and comfortable, and has a very minimal amount of soiling; Just a few spots. Chrome steel frame and leather straps are both in excellent condition. This is an extremely nice pair for the 1982 date.
